The Bear Woznick Adventure 406 - Karlo Broussard - Life Can Be Uncomfortable

Do you realize every one of us is meant to have a personal relationship with Jesus? I get it….life gets a little uncomfortable, it doesn’t seem to fit, we take ourselves too seriously and we end up missing out on the simplicity of what it means to give our lives to Jesus and experience the infusion of his love and his truth. My Cajun friend, Karlo Broussard joins me this week to discuss how to be in the world…..but not of the world. We need to learn how to properly order our goods in our lives. Let me tell you, pleasure and material goods will not last forever. Remember memento mori. We are going to die. We must ensure we possess the ultimate good. One that never will pass…a relationship with God.

The Bear Woznick Adventure 405 - Grady Dyke - Challenging One Another to Greatness

This week I welcome back Long Ride Home cast member Grady Dyke. Grady never realized a simple ride to the Big Bend with a group of Catholic men would turn into something greater. Riding in a pack with men he had never met before taught Grady unity and trust. We quickly learned that men can grow in their faith by working together and challenging one another to attain greatness. Want to learn how? Join Grady and I while we share our experiences on Long Ride Home as we prepare to release Season 2 in October.

The Bear Woznick Adventure 404 - Tony Orband - Be Quiet and Listen....Do You Hear It?

You’ve probably heard people talk about hearing this small voice. I bet you’ve wondered how exactly do we hear that still small voice within each of us? We have to be quiet. Life requires us to step out in faith and see where God leads us. We may not know what is beyond the horizon but it is worth the ride. This week Long Ride Home cast member Tony Orband and I reflect upon the challenges and triumphs of seasons one and two as we prepared to film the third season of Long Ride Home.

The Bear Woznick Adventure 403 - Father Donald Calloway – What is Mary's Role In Our Lives?

Why spend time with Mary? Why not go right to the Lord? What is Mary’s role in our lives? Sometimes we need to set down our rosaries and have a heart to heart talk with Our Lady in good times and bad. Father Don Calloway and Bear discuss how to develop a sweeter intimacy with Mary.

The Bear Woznick Adventure 402 - Kendra Von Esh – Becoming More About Him

Kendra Von Esh left behind the hustle and bustle of the corporate world to pursue a calling to evangelize for the Lord. That may sound simple but it was far from it. Kendra was focused on making money, climbing the ladder, with little time to pursue the faith she was born into. One day she received a phone call that would change her life forever. Life became less about her and more about Him. Listen in and discover how Kendra’s journey can be your journey too! Find out more about Kendra at her website KendraVonEsh.com

The Bear Woznick Adventure 401 - Jerome Richter – Building Up the Next Generation

We need to work together as men to build a community that challenges, equips, and mobilizes each other in the art of chivalry and being a knight of virtue. Jerome Richter returns to talk about the group he created to support young men. The Knights of Virtue helps young men have a fraternal community to hold each other accountable and to show them what it means to be a man in this secular world. In a world where men are told to be selfish, “get while the getting’s good” and do whatever pleases you and makes you happy we need to instill the virtues in young men more today than ever. Learn how you can play a part in guiding this generation of young men in becoming godly, virtuous men.

The Bear Woznick Adventure 400 - Robert Tunmire – Make Time for Faith and Great Things Happen

I have great admiration for those with the entrepreneurial spirit who use their skills to evangelize. Robert Tunmire is one of those people and his journey is incredible. For much of his life Robert was not really interested in faith. He didn’t have anything against the faith….he just didn’t have time for it. But that all changed when after wondering in the desert for 40 years Robert found God. You are going to have to tune in to hear what happened to Robert over a 72 hour business trip that set him on the path to God eventually landing him in the Catholic faith evangelizing men. From no faith life to being involved with the Central Texas Fellowship of Catholic Men (https://centexcatholic.com/) and the Catholic Men’s Leadership Alliance (https://catholicmenleaders.org/) be inspired by Robert’s story.

The Bear Woznick Adventure 398 - Nathaniel Binversie – Seeking Freedom?

In today’s upside down world men are seeking freedom. Freedom from addictions like pornography, gadgets, and sports. Wouldn’t it be great if there were  a progam to help men break these shackles? Nathaniel Binversie is the Director of Missions for Exodus 90. I’m stoked to share with you this week all about this program that has created a proactive way for men to develop self-mastery. Exodus 90 is having significant impact and is bringing men together in fraternal brotherhood preparing them lead as fathers, husbands, and brothers in Christ.
